PROCESSING PROCEDURE
GIM WI WOL Laver utilizes a professional management system with batch processing from seed cultivation to farming and processing of the dried laver through specialized methods we have cultivated over 40 years. We maintain product freshness by performing self freezing, refrigeration, and initial firing.

Seed cultivation
We retain high-quality filament and then proliferate it, transplant the filament into shells in December, and then grow them to cultivate healthy spores between February and August.

Land seed collection
We completed the first successful land seed collection in Sinan county. By using spinning wheels (a previous marine seed collection method we developed into a land based one), we extract spores from the shell between August and October and stably ripen them on the laver bed.

Farming and collection
We farm and collect grown laver in a germanium-rich pure mud flat sea, which is a Sinan UNESCO biosphere Reserve. (From October to April)

Processing of Dried laver
After purchasing direct cultivated laver or seaweed from home, we produce dried laver through seaweed washing, removal of foreign substances, and ripening.

Freezing storage and Shipment
For freshness, we store the products in a freezer and ship them to our businesses. We produce and sell out each year and do not sell laver produced in a previous year.
